For more information about our school district, visit <a href=""><strong> </strong></a>.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p><p>In this position, you will:</p><ul><li>Research, implement, configure, and support cloud, network, endpoint and security applications</li><li>Administer users, groups, policies, and permissions.</li><li>Install and configures computer and mobile devices, server and directory services, system and application software, network nodes, IP devices, printers, scanners, and other technologies in schools and District locations</li><li>Establish standards and procedures and write specifications, scripts and documentation for technical systems</li><li>Configure, program and administrate the ITSM solution in the district</li><li>Implement the District’s printing initiative</li><li>Review field ticket assignments and check for accuracy and quality</li><li>Prepare and execute detailed plans for complex multi-functional projects</li><li>Research and analyze emerging trends in technology and systems architecture, evaluate alternatives and make recommendations</li><li>Provide support, direction and apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to address escalated issues</li><li>Develop and deliver training workshops for technical and end user audiences</li><li>Liaise with stakeholders, LIT teams, vendors, contractors and other third parties as required to support district services</li><li>Perform information technology support to the Division</li><li>Performs other related duties as required</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p><ul><li>Completion of grade 12 plus over two (2) years' full-time of combined post-secondary education in information technology, electronics, electrical and telecommunications.</li><li>Minimum five (5) years of experience of progressive experience in a relevant computer systems/technology application development discipline</li><li>Experience working in a K-12 education organization an asset.</li></ul><ul><li>Advanced skill in implementing, problem solving, and supporting Apple and Microsoft computer, mobile, directory, server, network, security, and printing & ITSM technologies.</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with networking, security devices, MAC, PC and server support, virtual environments, virus protection, O365, Azure AD, Intune, Jamf, VMware and other various software applications.</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to analyze, prepare and distribute information in multiple formats to a diverse audience with a variety of technical experience levels.</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and experience in designing/delivering presentations.</li></ul><ul><li>Must be able to meet the following assessment: 1 hour series of tasks/problems (70%+).</li><li>Must have a valid BC driver's license and be willing to travel throughout the District.</li><li><b>Successful candidate must be able to lift/carry/move weights up to 50 lbs.</b></li></ul><p><strong>Your application MUST include: </strong></p><ul><li>Cover letter</li><li>Resume</li><li>Three (3) Professional References - names, email addresses and phone numbers of your last direct supervisors/managers (contacted only with your prior approval)</li><li>A copy of your Work Permit (if you are not a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident)</li></ul><p><strong> COMPENSATION </strong></p><p> The base salary for this position is $75,966.80 plus a comprehensive benefits package, including Municipal Pension Plan, Vancouver Employee Savings Plan, Extended Health, Dental, Group Life, Long Term Disability, Vacation, & Gratuity Days. Pre-approved overtime hours are paid as double-time ($83.48/hour).</p><p><strong>TO APPLY: </strong></p><ol><li>To be considered for this position, apply via MAKE A FUTURE.
