Duties

  • Engage with community members in public spaces to inform them about petitions and related initiatives
  • Conduct clear and compelling product demonstrations or informational sessions to motivate sign-ups
  • Utilize strong communication skills to answer questions, address concerns, and provide accurate information
  • Collect signatures efficiently while ensuring compliance with all legal and organizational guidelines
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions, signatures collected, and outreach activities
  • Promote the organization’s mission through energetic public speaking and positive engagement
  • Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach efforts and maximize community impact

Requirements

  • Prior experience in marketing, sales, or customer service preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
  • Bilingual abilities highly valued to connect with diverse populations effectively
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence in public speaking and product demos
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly and handle questions professionally
  • Ability to stand, walk, and engage actively for extended periods during outreach events
  • Reliable transportation or access to locations where outreach activities are conducted
