Duties
- Greet customers warmly as they arrive at the front counter, providing friendly and attentive service.
- Take accurate food orders using POS systems ensuring quick and correct processing.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions confidently, maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including assembling orders, dishwashing and ensuring food safety standards are met.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front counter area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality service.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of food handling and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests.
- Strong cash handling skills combined with basic math proficiency for accurate transactions.
- Ability to multitask effectively, managing food preparation, serving, and cashier duties simultaneously.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper kitchen practices to ensure a safe environment.
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and boost sales performance.
