Key Responsibilities

  • Review and proofread various types of documents, including marketing materials, reports, manuals, and digital content, for grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors.
  • Ensure content aligns with company style guides, brand voice, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with writers, editors, and other departments to clarify ambiguous content and provide constructive feedback.
  • Identify inconsistencies, inaccuracies, and areas for improvement in text and layout.
  • Maintain a database of common errors and suggested improvements to streamline content quality processes.
  • Assist in training new team members on proofreading standards and procedures.
  • Meet deadlines while managing multiple documents and projects simultaneously.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Exceptional command of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain consistency in style, tone, and formatting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and content management tools.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in proofreading, editing, or quality control roles.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position (Remote/On-site, based on preference).
  • Typical hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible hours may be available).
