As Production Supervisor, you’ll lead a team and play a key role in the safety, quality, and performance of our Sault Ste. Marie I-Joist Mill. You’ll engage and develop your team, improve production processes, and collaborate across the business to deliver strong operational results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.<br><br><strong>What We Offer<br><br></strong>Interfor offers a competitive salary based on experience, skills, and qualifications, with an expected range of <strong>$85,000 – $100,000 (CAD)</strong> per year. In addition to base pay, you’ll enjoy:<br><br><ul><li> Short-Term Incentive Bonus </li><li> 3 weeks vacation to start </li><li> RRSP matching </li><li> Employee Share Purchase Program matching </li><li> Employer-paid medical and dental coverage <br><br></li></ul><strong>What You’ll Do<br><br></strong><ul><li> Safety: Champion safety standards, lead by example, and ensure compliance across all operations. </li><li> Performance: Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, and maximize product quality and recovery. </li><li> Quality: Oversee manufacturing quality, ensuring products meet specifications and customer expectations. </li><li> Teamwork: Engage and support production and maintenance workers to achieve targets and address challenges. </li><li> Culture: Foster open communication and support excellence throughout the team. <br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Offer<br><br></strong><ul><li> Leadership: Proven ability to lead and support teams in a fast-paced environment; strong interpersonal and communication skills. </li><li> Experience: 3 years in sawmill, planer, or related operations (preferred), with at least 1 year of supervisory experience. </li><li> Technical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; computer competency, especially in Microsoft Outlook and Excel. </li><li> Knowledge: Familiarity with lumber manufacturing, machine maintenance, and process optimization is an asset. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Who We Are<br><br></strong>At Interfor, our culture is built on integrity, respect, and collaboration.
