PART TIME LAUNDRY ATTENDANT

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part Time Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and efficiency within our laundry operations. The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for handling various textile cleaning tasks, operating laundry machinery, and providing exceptional customer service to support our facility’s operational needs.

Duties

  • Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of textiles.
  • Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting and manual handling of laundry loads using push carts and other equipment.
  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of laundry areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards in production environments.
  • Sort, fold, and organize laundry items efficiently while adhering to proper garment care procedures.
  • Manage inventory of laundry detergents, cleaning supplies, and textiles to maintain smooth workflow.
  • Follow safety protocols during all laundry processes to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with customer service by addressing inquiries related to laundry services and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in laundry services or textile cleaning is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of laundry detergents, sanitation practices, and garment care machine operation.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials manually with precision.
  • Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating loads accurately.
  • Understanding of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocol guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality control.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and support customer needs.
