Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and creative DaVinci Resolve Video Editor to join our remote team on a part-time basis.

The ideal candidate must have at least 4 years of professional video editing experience and strong hands-on expertise in DaVinci Resolve. You will be responsible for creating high-quality video content for social media, marketing campaigns, advertisements, and other digital platforms.

A strong portfolio is mandatory. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit professional video content using DaVinci Resolve.
  • Create engaging Reels, Shorts, advertisements, promotional videos, and marketing content.
  • Perform professional video cutting, transitions, color correction, and color grading.
  • Edit and synchronize audio, music, and sound effects.
  • Create captions, text animations, motion graphics, and visual effects.
  • Transform raw footage and creative briefs into polished final videos.
  • Maintain consistent visual quality and brand guidelines.
  • Make revisions based on feedback.
  • Manage multiple video projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Stay updated with current video editing trends and social media formats.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of professional video editing experience.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with DaVinci Resolve.
  • Strong knowledge of video editing, color grading, and color correction.
  • Experience creating content for social media and digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, composition, and visual presentation.
  • Experience with motion graphics, text animation, transitions, and visual effects.
  • Good understanding of audio editing and synchronization.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time-management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Portfolio Requirement — Mandatory

A portfolio is required with every application.

Your portfolio should demonstrate your previous professional work, preferably including:

  • Social media Reels and Shorts
  • Promotional and advertising videos
  • Marketing videos
  • Color grading and correction
  • Motion graphics and text animations
  • Creative video editing projects
