Our experience in the design of judicial buildings spans more than 30 years across all levels of government including courthouses, police facilities and detention and correctional centers.<br><br>Learn more about our Justice Portfolio.<br><br>As an Architect, you will work with other members of the design team in order to develop design solutions appropriate to the context, budget and aesthetic requirements of architectural projects. You will collaborate with other professional disciplines and have opportunities to coordinate the design through all phases of the project.<br><br>You Will Make an Impact by<br><br><ul><li>Compiling information from reports and published documents; evaluating and analyzing the information to understand broad requirements of project</li><li>Developing architectural designs, to ensure an exemplary solution is delivered that meets quality parameters, project timelines and budgetary requirements</li><li>Coordinating design intent with other disciplines</li><li>Integrating engineering requirements, site surveys and field review information, adhering to applicable codes and jurisdictional requirements</li><li>Preparing design reports, drawings and models following office standards</li><li>Performing site visitations to determine compliance with construction documents; identifying any deviations and liaises with owner and contractor to resolve issues in a timely manner</li><li>Reviews project products, services, and shop drawings to ensure adherence to project documents, relevant jurisdictional codes and corporate quality controls<br><br></li></ul>You Will Bring to the Team<br><br><ul><li>Experience in all phases of the project cycle is required</li><li>Architectural design software skills including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, PhotoShop, and other architectural design software</li><li>Familiarity with MEP and Structural building systems and building codes is required</li><li>Successfully completed related post-secondary education</li><li>Registered with a relevant professional architectural association</li><li>10-15 years of project work experience</li><li>Experience in Justice projects is an asset<br><br></li></ul><strong>We Are<br><br></strong>The spaces we design and the technology we embrace shape how people live, work, learn, and connect.
