We're Sharp Performance

Sharp Performance

Sharp Performance exists so that everyone who answers the call has someone in their corner who has walked in their shoes. We help first responders and their spouses thrive through confidential coaching from people with similar lived experience. Our coaches have carried the badge, worn the gear, or stood beside someone who did. Through our mobile platform, we connect law enforcement, firefighters, and other frontline professionals with coaches who understand the job because they have lived it.

We're early-stage and backed by amazing investors. The team is small enough that your work shows up in the rollout, the product, and the customer's experience within weeks. If building something that matters alongside people who hold a high standard sounds better than a safe seat somewhere else, come build it with us.

The Opportunity

We're hiring a Talent Coordinator to run the hiring engine that brings great people onto the Sharp team. This role reports to the Senior Recruiter.

Every hire at an early-stage company matters, and every candidate forms an opinion of Sharp from how we treat them. You own the logistics that make hiring fast, organized, and human: scheduling, interview panels, candidate communication, offer letters, ATS hygiene, and the handoff to onboarding. Recruiters and hiring managers focus on finding and assessing talent. You make sure the process around them never slows down.

You will work closely with Recruiting, People Ops, and hiring managers across Sales, Product, Coaching, and Engineering.

This role is Remote, with occasional travel to Carlsbad, CA as the work requires.

What You'll Own

  • Scheduling: Coordinate phone screens, interview loops and final rounds across time zones and busy calendars. Reschedule quickly when plans change without losing momentum.
  • Interview panels: Build balanced panels with hiring managers, send interviewers prep materials and scorecards, and chase feedback so decisions happen within 48 hours.
  • Candidate communication: Be the main point of contact for candidates in process. Send confirmations, reminders and status updates, and make sure no one is left waiting without an answer.
  • Offer letters: Draft and send offer letters from approved templates, route them for approval and track signatures through close.
  • ATS hygiene: Keep every requisition, candidate stage, disposition and note accurate in our ATS. Clean data lets us report on pipeline and time to hire with confidence.
  • Handoff to onboarding: Once an offer is signed, pass a complete, accurate record to People Ops so new hires get equipment, accounts and a warm welcome on day one.
  • Process improvement: Spot friction in our hiring process and suggest templates, automations or workflow changes that save time for candidates and the team.

The Numbers

Two numbers define success in this role. You will set the targets with your manager in your first 90 days and own them after that:

  • Candidate speed. Time from stage change to scheduled interview, interview-to-feedback turnaround (target: 48 hours), and time from verbal offer to signed offer letter. Reported by role, weekly.
  • Candidate experience and data quality. Candidate experience survey scores, no candidate waiting more than two business days for an update, and an ATS clean enough that pipeline reports need no manual fixes.

Who Thrives Here

This role is not for everyone. You will thrive if you have:

  • 2–3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, talent operations, HR or a similar high-volume scheduling role.
  • Hands-on experience with Rippling, including managing candidate stages, scheduling, offer workflows or reporting.
  • Strong command of Google Workspace, especially calendars and shared documents.
  • Excellent organization: you can juggle 20+ active candidates and several open roles without dropping details.
  • Clear, warm and professional writing for candidates, interviewers and executives.
  • Sound judgment with confidential information such as compensation and offer terms.
  • A preference for ownership over supervision, and a deep care for serving those who serve others.

Why You'll Love Working Here

Sharp is a small, fast-growing team, and our success starts with the people doing the work. The package is built to support your health, your finances, and your growth:

  • High Earning Potential: Competitive base salary with uncapped commission. We are offering a salary from 50-60k a year.
  • Mission That Matters: You're not selling software to a Fortune 500. You're helping protect the mental health of cops and firefighters who need it.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision.
  • Flexible PTO: Recharge and stay sharp, no micromanagement.
  • 401(k) with Company Match: We invest in your future.
  • Performance Coaching: Access to the same elite performance coaches we offer our clients.
  • A Team Built Like You: We're operators, first responders, and high-performers who don't accept average.
