As a Travel Counselor, you’ll join our highly skilled remote team, providing outstanding service to our corporate business clients. We’re proud of our warm and inclusive culture, innovation in travel tech, internal promotions, and career advancement opportunities; many Traveler Care leaders started as Travel Counselors. ## What you will do and how we work You will advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (individuals and groups) and book domestic and international business travel across air, road, rail, and accommodations. Typical activities include: - Analyze and research travel options. - Proactively anticipate traveler needs and sell additional services. - Ensure compliance with customers’ travel policies, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements. - Use positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requests. - Collaborate with your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levels. Detailed job functions and key performance indicators will be shared during the interview process. ## Skills, tools, and experience we expect - Passion for excellence in client service and proactive anticipation of needs. - Native GDS expertise (Sabre) and knowledge of GDS systems, including Sabre, required. - Strong international travel knowledge. - Phone and email servicing experience with professional written and verbal communication. - Attention to detail, integrity, and responsibility for protecting traveler information. - Background in the travel industry (business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservations) preferred. - Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and independently or with suppliers. - Demonstrated teamwork and openness to feedback. Our Traveler Care unit is a 24/7 operation. While specific colleagues are dedicated to night shifts, candidates should be flexible and prepared to work afternoon shifts (12–8pm) and weekends as required. ## Compensation and location Location: United States. The US national base salary range for this position is $39,200.00–$72,800.00.
