Key Responsibilities Virtual Infrastructure Management Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter Servers. Oversee daily operations of virtual machines, including provisioning, configuration, cloning, and decommissioning. Optimize VM performance and ensure high availability across clusters using DRS, HA, and vMotion. Automation & Monitoring Design and implement automation using PowerCLI and other scripting tools. Establish proactive monitoring solutions using tools like vRealize Operations and Nagios. Collaborate on system health dashboards and automate incident response procedures. Security & Compliance Enforce role-based access control (RBAC), patching policies, and secure configurations aligned with industry standards. Participate in audits and maintain documentation for ITIL compliance. Safeguard infrastructure with regular vulnerability scans and remediation protocols. Backup & Recovery Manage and test backup solutions using Veeam or similar technologies. Conduct regular recovery drills to validate restore strategies.
