Experience the unique opportunity of being a Night Baker with Matrix Camps & Logistics. In this Fly-in/Fly-out position, you will create scratch-baked goods for various camps across Canada, delivering exceptional breakfast experiences for guests.
In this role, you will be crucial in preparing unique breakfast features while ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-volume baking and the ability to operate efficiently during night shifts. You will work in a remote environment, handling everything from baking to menu planning with safety at the forefront.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft an array of baked goods, including bread and pies
  • Prepare and serve a variety of eggs and breakfast specials
  • Organize and maintain efficient inventory practices
  • Follow food safety procedures and maintain cleanliness
  • Participate in occupational meetings and safety inspections

Requirements:

  • At least 2 seasons in a high-volume baking role
  • Certification in Level 1 First Aid or equivalent
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Comfortable working alone during night shifts
