Junior Content Writer - Part Time, Remote

About This Role

We're looking for a motivated Junior Content Writer to join our growing media platform. This position is perfect for students, recent graduates, or anyone eager to gain hands-on experience in digital content creation, social media strategy, and audience engagement. You'll work with our production team to create, schedule, and analyze content that reaches and connects with audiences across multiple platforms.

What You'll Be Doing

• Create, edit, and schedule content across social media platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter

• Research trending topics and hashtags to boost audience engagement and platform visibility

• Support email marketing campaigns and newsletters to grow our audience

• Track performance metrics like views, clicks, and engagement, and prepare simple reports on what's working

• Brainstorm and help execute creative campaigns to promote content and special events

• Repurpose longer content into short-form clips for social sharing

• Contribute ideas on branding, graphics, and digital outreach strategies

Skills/background needed

• Familiarity with major social media platforms and basic content creation tools like Canva

• Strong writing and communication skills

• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and bring fresh ideas

• Interest in current events, media, and digital storytelling

• No prior professional experience required – full training provided
