High-End Freelance Video Editor (Short-Form / Luxury Real Estate) – Quick Turnaround

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled, reliable freelance video editor to craft sophisticated, scroll-stopping short-form vertical videos (9:16), and long form horizontal videos for luxury real estate properties, as well as lifestyle videos for farms and land.

Our target audience expects exclusivity, elegance, and high production value. We need an editor who understands how to showcase high-end architecture, materials, and premium lifestyles through tight, intentional pacing—not over-the-top, aggressive social media transitions. Examples of the types of videos we make will be provided during the interview and selection process.

This is a fast-paced role requiring crisp communication and a fast turnaround time per asset.

We will begin with a single paid test edit to evaluate pacing, color grading style, and turnaround time.

Key Responsibilities:

•Turn raw property walkthroughs, lifestyle clips, and drone footage into polished vertical videos (20–90 seconds) optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

•Turn raw property walkthroughs, lifestyle clips, and drone footage into polished horizontal videos (2-3 minutes) optimized for YouTube, MLS posting, and more.

•Apply natural, sophisticated color grading that enhances high-end home interiors and lighting.

•Implement smooth, purposeful visual transitions (e.g., speed ramping, masking) while maintaining an elegant, minimalist aesthetic.

•Curate refined and interesting, royalty-free background music and integrate clean, subtle sound design that complements the property and is on brand.

•Add tasteful, minimalist text overlays or dynamic captions for key property features (e.g., location, unique amenities).

•Add agent branding (logo and text) at the end of all videos.

•Deliver final exports in high-quality 1080p/4K MP4 format along with a clean still frame for the cover image.

Requirements:

•Proven experience editing luxury real estate, premium travel, or high-end lifestyle content (No beginners—portfolio required).

•Masterful eye for pacing, composition, framing, and storytelling within short timelines.

•Turnaround Time: Ability to deliver the first draft within 24 to 48 hours of receiving raw assets.

•Highly responsive to feedback and revision requests via email, or real time joint edit/fine-tuning session.
