<p>ELECNOR a multinational company with a presence in more than 50 countries and 32.000 employees worldwide, is looking to hire a<strong> Financial Manager</strong> specialized in the renewable energy sector for photovoltaic projects in Jamaica.</p><p>Working at Elecnor means being part of a consolidated and constantly growing company within the renewable energy sector.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>POSITION SUMMARY</u></strong></p><p>● Financial Management & Accounting: Comprehensive management of local bookkeeping, financial statement preparation under local and IFRS standards, and internal corporate reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual closing).</p><p>● Taxation & Compliance: Full oversight of Jamaican tax obligations (GCT, corporate tax, payroll withholdings), ensuring strict adherence to statutory filing deadlines and Group Compliance guidelines.</p><p>● Treasury & Cash Flow: Cash flow forecasting, management of local bank accounts, working capital optimization, and oversight of payment processing to local suppliers.</p><p>● Audit & Internal Controls: Direct coordination with external auditors, tax authorities, and internal Group audit teams. Implementation of corporate internal control procedures.</p><p>● ERP Proficiency: Proven experience with AS400, Ipartek Web, SAGE X3 and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>JOB REQUIREMENTS</u></strong></p><p>● Experience :Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial administration, accounting, and local compliance, preferably within international multinational groups or the construction, energy, or infrastructure sectors. </p><p>● Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (CPA or ACCA certification is highly valued). </p><p>● Languages: Professional fluency in English and Spanish.</p><p>● Competencies: Strong leadership, analytical capability, autonomy, negotiation skills, and high adaptability to cross-cultural work environments.</p>
