This role serves as the strategic HR Business Partner for Circana's Corporate Functions organization, partnering with senior leaders across Legal, Finance, Marketing, HR, and Corporate Strategy. Working closely with the People Generalist HRBP team and Centers of Excellence, you will help shape workforce strategy, talent planning, organizational effectiveness, and leadership capability while ensuring people priorities are aligned to business objectives. This Director, HR Business Partner role is a strategic advisor to senior corporate leadership. This is not a day-to-day HR execution role. Instead, you will partner with executives to anticipate talent needs, drive organizational effectiveness, strengthen leadership teams, and build the capabilities required to support future business growth. Success in this role requires the ability to influence without authority, navigate ambiguity, leverage data to inform decision-making, and build trusted relationships across the organization. Reporting to the VP, HRBP for Corporate Functions & Business ATP, this role is ideal for a proactive, business-minded leader who brings insight before being asked, identifies opportunities before challenges emerge, and helps shape the future of the organization through people strategy, executive coaching, and thoughtful leadership. Given the seniority and sensitivity of the population supported, this role also provides strategic guidance on complex employee relations matters and requires exceptional judgment, discretion, and credibility. ##### Job Responsibilities Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning * Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior and executive leaders across Corporate Functions, shaping talent strategy, succession planning, workforce planning, talent mobility, leveling, and compensation strategy. * Partner with business and HR leadership on initiatives that strengthen engagement, retention, and performance across Legal, Finance, Marketing, HR and Strategy populations. * Build talent pipelines and succession plans proactively, ensuring Corporate Functions is organized around where the business is headed -- not simply reacting to where it is today. * Leverage people data and analytics to influence leadership decisions, drive accountability, and build forward-looking action plans that improve engagement and organizational health. * Promote leadership effectiveness through thoughtful coaching and enablement of senior leaders as they build and grow their own teams. Organizational Design and Effectiveness * Provide strategic counsel to senior corporate leaders on organizational design and restructuring within Corporate Functions, anticipating future needs as the business evolves rather than responding only once gaps emerge. * Partner with business leaders on the approach and cadence for organizational change, including change management and integration efforts, partnering closely with Corporate Strategy leadership where relevant. * Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends -- including HRIS metrics and exit data -- to surface proactive insight and inform leadership decisions before issues surface. Strategic Partnership & Execution * Build a strong, collaborative partnership with the People Generalist HRBP team to ensure effective, consistent global execution of the People Strategy across Corporate Functions. * Develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior corporate leaders, serving as their primary strategic point of contact on people matters. * Maintain close connectivity with finance partners on budgeting, including incremental adds, savings initiatives, and workforce impacts. * Raise proactive issues with leaders, bringing forward practical, future-oriented solutions rather than simply responding to what's already escalated. Employee Relations * Provide strategic counsel to senior leaders on complex, sensitive employee relations matters, partnering closely with the People Generalist HRBP team and Legal on resolution. * Build trusted, confidential relationships across the organization that support early identification of ER risk before it escalates. * Partner closely with Legal on matters requiring cross-functional coordination, given the nature of the populations supported. ##### Requirements * 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including significant experience as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leaders and executives. * Strong employee relations expertise, including advising on complex and sensitive matters involving senior leaders and executives. * Experience supporting corporate functions such as Legal, Finance, Marketing, HR, Strategy, or similar organizations strongly preferred. * Understanding of corporate operations and the unique dynamics of supporting functional (non-revenue-generating) teams. * Strong executive presence and the judgment to handle highly confidential matters with discretion. * Proven ability to advise senior leaders, navigate organizational complexity, and build trusted relationships that influence business outcomes. * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities effectively. * Inclusive leadership style characterized by humility, courage, and high emotional intelligence. * Strong program management skills, with experience leading initiatives from strategy through execution. * Strong foundation across key Human Resources disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, talent development, change management, organizational development, and learning. * Experience with workforce budgeting and financial planning. * Self-starter who demonstrates innovation, resourcefulness, and a continuous improvement mindset. * Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. * Experience with UKG preferred. ##### Circana Behaviors Beyond technical skills, experience, and role-specific attributes, these shared behaviors are fundamental to our culture and success.
