Category Director IT

Develop and implement IT category strategy: The Category Director IT will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for the IT category at McKinsey & Company. This includes identifying key areas of focus, setting ambitious goals, and creating a roadmap for success. Collaborate with clients: The Category Director IT will work closely with clients to understand their needs and challenges, and develop customized solutions that drive positive impact for their organizations. This requires excellent communication and relationship building skills. Lead a team: The Category Director IT will lead a team of IT professionals to execute the category strategy, drive innovation, and deliver exceptional results for clients. This includes setting clear goals, providing guidance and support, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture. Drive impactful and innovative solutions: The Category Director IT will be responsible for identifying and implementing new and innovative solutions to drive growth and value for clients. This requires staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and continuously seeking opportunities for improvement. Ensure high quality deliverables: The Category Director IT will be responsible for ensuring that all deliverables, including proposals, presentations, and reports, meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy. This includes conducting thorough reviews and providing feedback to the team. Monitor and analyze market trends: The Category Director IT will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing market trends, competition, and client needs to identify new opportunities for growth and improvement in the IT category. This requires a strong understanding of the IT industry and the ability to gather and interpret data. Manage budgets and resources: The Category Director IT will be responsible for managing budgets and resources for the IT category, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and on time. This requires strong financial management skills and the ability to prioritize and allocate resources effectively.
